As long as we keep having a go up front they won’t be able to play their football how they want. The worst thing we could do now is to invite them on to us.

We’re finding our team and it keeps improving. Ther will be setbacks, that is natural with such a young side, but the positives are putting the negatives in the shade.
45 minutes of competitive football against one of the league’s best is something we haven’t managed for a long time. Maintaining it for 90 is obviously the goal, but even if the second half doesn’t go our way, this still feels like a step forward for this group. Hopefully something they’ll be able to look back on and use as a blueprint…
