Another possible tricky away day.
Hopefully we find some composure again and don’t make a meal of this one.
Partey should be back.

Another possible tricky away day.

Partey should be back.
3-0 Iheanacho hatter
Everton and Brentford we struggled against because of the deep block (we really need Jesus back)
City as far as I’m concerned that was psychological
But you have raised the point about defensive weakness, and going forward Leicester are decent and they gave United trouble before Rashford scored and blew Spurs away. It’s going to be a hard game, in the race for top four a draw would be a good result but we need to win to keep any chance of the title going.
Be interesting who starts between Jorginho and Partey.
We've tried to bring Partey back too soon before and it just crocks him for longer, I'd say go with Jorginho
I've a feeling we might change up the attack, give Eddie a rest.
Leicester: Ward, Castagne, Souttar, Faes, Kristiansen, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndidi, Praet, Tete, Barnes, Iheancho.
Subs: Iversen, Ricardo, Amartey, Thomas, Mendy, Soumare, Tielemans, Vardy, Daka.
Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard.
Subs: Turner, Tierney, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Holding, Smith Rowe, Vieira, Partey, Nketiah.
Xhaka could have done better there
Zin and Xhaka combine well to put the ball out of play
our corners are so bad
TROSSARD!!!
TROSSSSAARRRRDDD!!!
We've battered them tbh
Trossaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard!
Great strike too.
Love to see it.
Oh get fucked VAR.
There's nothing in that.
Disallowed. Fuck you VAR.
Fuck sake, is Mason back?
White holding the goalie's arm...
Bullshit
Everybody should know by now, there should be no celebration until VAR has okayed it.
Sounds like we’ve been well on top.
Hopefully we’re not sucker punched here.
0-0 HT. Hmmm.
too many touches by Zin, Xhaka and also Martinelli tbf - we need more one-touch stuff and greater directness
White was silly in the goal incident, he gave them a reason to cancel it out and tbh if it wer the other way round I'd have though it shoudl be cancelled out too
Jorginho has played really well again though
in teh second half we need Vieira or ESR instead of Xhaka and then Tierney at some stage
Sideways and backwards passing creeping into our game.
We’ve been on top, but just can’t seem to find that bit of space or final pass to finish off a move. Other than the disallowed goal, we’ve put nothing on or even near target.
Strange game really ...we've really battered them but as usual our final balls have let us down.
Playing Trossard and Martinelli has been great for the attack and movement but Martinelli is really off the boil when jt comes to finishing. He's making his case more and more dificult.
Saka too has been below par, which is more worrying as he is far above all our attacking players.
I really have to say Trossard looks the most likely to score and though I have enjoyed this game without Eddie...I think he'll need to come on if we're still chasing it with 30mins to go.
A good game, but the usual suspects and passengers still letting us down with their averageness.
Sometimes I wonder why Odegaard can't be more direct and take a game like this..anyway lets see what the next half has to offer.
Oh BTW Leicester's attack looks able to score too, so we definitely need to cutout the cockups at the back..as we're our own worst enemy there.
MARTINELLI!!!
Rule that one out you cunts.
Disallowed goal for Saka.
Odegaard
the pass to Saka was so on
Xhaka, Saka and Daka.
Five added minutes.
0-1 FT!! Get in.
Back-to-back away games with wins is huge.
a fair-to-good performance but Leicester were poor, i don't think Ram had a single save to make
we absolutely need to win our game-in-hand on Weds to build the lead back up again
