Not quite a rubber stamp fixture but almost. I had to look up where this place even was in Spain (Catalonia about 30-40 miles up the road from Barcelona)

Basically the Spanish equivalent of Blackburn Rovers in the mid 1990s (without the title win of course)


Havertz hobbling about at the end against Wolves, so if possible we should avoid playing him (stick either Martinelli or Trossard up front, no they aren’t strikers but neither is Havertz)


I’d rest Saliba, Partey and if he’s come back from illness Odegaard for this game as well

Definitely need to shuffle the pack here with City on the weekend.

Girona have lost 6 out of the 7 games so I don’t imagine this will be the sternest of tests. Hopefully we just kill the game off early and most importantly, don’t pick up any injuries.

This is classic Arsenal banana skin territory. A beyond belief fuck up here, everything going against us elsewhere and a loss and wave goodbye to the title on Sunday. Season over.

We've done it in the past, so great care and attention required here. Professional job required, not some second squad jolly.

Partey at right back instinctively fucks me off, but I think resting Timber for Sunday makes sense. Definitely glad Saliba isn’t starting….as I said earlier I wouldn’t have played Odegaard but will be interesting to see how he and Nwaneri link up.
