http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...ee-keeper-moveUdinese have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Inter Milan over the transfer of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The highly-rated Slovenia international enjoyed a fine season for the Bianconeri last season, establishing himself as one of the division's most consistent 'keepers.
His performances helped Udinese to third place in Serie A and a spot in next season's Champions League qualifiers.
Italian giants Inter have been consistently linked with a summer swoop for the 27-year-old, though Udinese have previously publicly declared their determination to keep the player.
However, it has now emerged that the two clubs have come an agreement on a deal to take the former NK Domzale youngster to Giuseppe Meazza.
The deal will also see Inter full-back Davide Faraoni move in the other direction.
"There is a general agreement with Inter. Only the signing and the official news is missing," Udinese director Gino Pozzo told reporters.
A move for Handanovic would immediately bring into question the future of current Inter No.1 Julio Cesar.
When quizzed on the future of the Brazilian shot-stopper, Inter president Massimo Moratti remained coy, simply replying: "Let's see."
