outplayed by a wigan team battling for relegation couldn't give a flying fuck if they beat utd, we were at HOME against them and still couldnt string a decent attack together. noone off the bench to come on with some flair, why? because our board and manager failed to invest properly in the summer. rvp on his last legs and who do we have off the bench? park? chamakh?


sagna got completely outplayed by the mighty victor moses. and what the fuck was up with walcott? the worst winger in the league. everytime he plays we're basically playing with 1 winger and that idiot in the dugout isn't clever enough to take him off. but apparently he's the best in the premier league


mourinho, pep, fergie would have taken theo off at half time but the best manager in the league completely oblivious to the change

Woeful tbh can't say more then that. Fair play to Wigan they deerved it wanted it and needed it more then we did.

We missed Kos that was effident. Quality is needed in the summer.

I thought first half we did OK. Well, we gave them a 2 goal lead which wasn't very helpful but after that we did OK, their 'keeper made some good saves and we were a bit unlucky to go in behind. When we got the goal back I was pretty confident we'd get something.

2nd half was very disappointing, we just didn't come out and do enough. Their 'keeper didn't make a save as far as I remember all half, if anything Wigan had the better chances. Not good enough.

The first goal particularly annoyed me. It was our corner and ever single Wigan player was back defending. There's just no way they should be scoring on the break from that position.

Ah well, on we go. Hopefully the Chavs won't get a thumping on Wednesday and will have one eye on the return leg vs Barca and we can get a result. Important game for us now, that one.
