We sold our top striker and didn't replace him. We sold the steel in front of the back four and didn't replace him. Unbelievably this has had a negative effect on our performances. It's all very well criticising the club but who could have predicted gutting the team for the umpteenth season would leave us unable to compete? It's crazy talk to suggest this has anything to do with unimaginably greedy owners, a manager who absolutely refuses to accept what he sees with his own eyes and refuses to change or a team that's full of players who would rather talk about their contracts than do their talking on the pitch. I think it's just bad luck. For the fans at least. For the owners, manager and players, roll on pay day.
