Yes I'm starting to hear the Sanchez and Schnierdelin stuff. It's starting to bubble up on social media and a few blogs - hoping this is real. Would be absolutely ecstatic in the club and Wenger if we pull this off but obviously given past results I won't be corking the champagne until I see it confirmed on Arsenal.com

Sadly (or not depending on your view) I think if we do get Schindler's list it would mean one of Flamini or Arteta leaving. Flamini was always meant to be a stopgap for a season because we missed out on Bender last year but there were a few articles linking Arteta to a move back to Bilbao (to replace Herrera). Personally I'd want to retain Arteta simply because I think he's the better player and he's the type of experienced pro you need to keep in your squad for the youngsters to learn from.

And I'd personally get rid of Arteta. He's not getting any faster, and doesn't fit anywhere in our team. Flamini atleast is decent at a CDM role.
