What happened to us, back in the day we would be the ones signing people like Shaquiri and Cisse (Newcastle one). Decent players with proven quality. Instead we go for completely off the radar players that have never achieved very much. You can't even blame the price tag as they were both only £10m.

we have no need for flamini, song is better then him and coqulain is a very able replacement, just look at how he did in the united and scum games. thrown in at the deep and us probably our best player in the two games. look very good whenever he plays, next gilberto imo and no higher praise then that
Not sure how Flamini is anymore. He was excellent in his last season here and pretty good back up previously.
