if the aussie batting wasn't so poor the first two tests we would be losing this series, our batting has been poor and our bowling pedestrian.

Australia in tricky position here. They need to file a total lead safe enough to be in no danger of being caught, but with enough time to bowl England out as they have to win the match. Weather-permitting, we could therefore be looking at a Kofi-esque "controlled frenzy".

Bat for a session, get 100 up. Set 250 and then try and get England out ASAP before the rain hits.
Starting Warner is a good idea. I'm liking the flexibility of this Aussie side.
England wouldn't do that. They'd start with their plodders and get 100 in 4 odd sessions
