Balogun supposedly set to sign a new contract with us. Bit of good news amidst all the doom and gloom.
We should cash in on Laca and Eddie in the summer, let Balogun and Martinelli compete for the no. 9 spot.
Just hope he doesn't do the same as he's done with Martinelli get the contract signed then keep him in the background.
Would be lovely to cash-in on most of these players but, as always, who is going to want them? Especially on the wages some of them are on. Arteta has a few months left to build a team out of the younger players. He won't do it with the shit-kickers he's placed his faith in so far. The clock is ticking for him. If he's smart he'll get to work right away. If he persists then the likelihood is he'll be out the door before many of the wasters he's been picking.
