Another shit performance at home. We look so turgid and laboured these days, something which has been overlooked because we've picked up wins recently. RVP is having a shocker, he's done very well this season in terms of goals but his all round play has been mediocre for a while. It doesn't matter so much when other players are offering creativity from midfield, but given our midfield is so lacklustre and the wide players are inconsistent, we need our main striker to take some of the slack in terms of creating and instigating chances, and he's failed miserably at that.

Back 4 have played well, Arteta good, Ramsey sloppy, Song 50/50, Gerv and Theo wasteful as always, RvP with his worst half in a long time. But we are still well on top of them. If the defence can avoid mistakes we should sneak a goal and win it.

Midfield 3 very good. Ramsey, Arteta excellent and we've created many openings because we're winning the ball in midfield and getting it quickly forward.

The movement of the front three is very good but they keep getting the final ball completely wrong - especially Theo and Gervinho.

And it wasn't difficult to get it right on quite a few occasions.

We had a chance to get a solid lead and blew it. The second half will probably be much harder.

I wouldn't make any changes atm - just hope one of the Walcott/Gervinho chances fall to Van Persie.

The most one-sided 0-0 since.......well all the other 0-0s where we've battered teams and been embarrassingly wasteful in the box.

Oh dear. Positionally he's probably the best in the league. Apart from this one game he's been holding up and distributing the ball brilliantly. He's even been good in the air. Not sure how much more the guy could do, he's got it all.

Let's not pretend we've played well though. Everton are actually not playing anywhere near as well as they played last season, and the fact that they've been relatively comfortable says a lot about our lack of teeth in the final third.

They've been comfortable to the extent we'd be 4-0 with a little more care in front of goal.

Some middle ground. Use your brain.

With every wrong move from Walcott leads to some stupid comment about his brain. As soon as he does something good...'oh he's woken up'. It's bollocks.
