He's a good player, an upgrade on "Ramsey", but what we really need now is star quality. McCarthy would undoubtedly be another "Project", one that won't necessarily need major development work...but right now I don't think he's good enough to start in our Midfield.

If the "Socialism" applied to everything else we did as a club (i.e. lower ticket prices, lower wages for management) I'd understand it, but it seems we only have Socialism when it comes to players salaries.
