It is interesting that just before kick off it was apparently "perfect weather for football" but by the time these professional athletes were struggling to move, after 50 minutes, it was impossible heat and humidity.

There’s no excuse they won’t stoop to.
I thought after the Iceland disaster it was commonly accepted that we’re just not very good. Clearly not.
Couldn’t finish watching that.
FFS. Kill them all.
I know. Toe curling.
Thanks for posting it.

Yuk to that video. Fair play to Kane though, if that late chance had dropped to either Sterling or Lingard neither would have scored. He took it calmly with a cool head.
I knew in advance the match would be dire beyond compare, so I amused myself by watching Sterling. Quite literally, he got nothing right. Nothing. It's hard to imagine there's nobody knocking around the country who is better than this guy. Every time he got the ball or took up his goal-hanging position he fucked it up. The first goal should have been disallowed because he was offside, so he could have fucked up the result too. His one strength is his comprehensive technical inability. He's so useless on the ball he ends up being super unpredictable. He doesn't have a clue what to do, so nobody else has a clue either. His passes deflect all over the place, his random running could see him end up anywhere, his clinical lack of ability in front of goal means anything could happen - usually something very funny but also unintended consequences like mis-hitting the ball vaguely towards the goal, close enough so there's a statistical possibility of it going in. The most hopeless player I have ever seen in an England shirt.
