I got a bit sick of this place, the unremitting misery and every thread descending into the same arguments.
It's eased off a bit during the Euros.
Unless we sign someone big I expect it will now resume though

Bit of both.
Still has its moments but I think the whole concept of messageboards is dying a bit, people use FB and other things now.
The trouble is it's become a bit of a caricature of itself now. Though in fairness I think every forum I've frequented in the past tends to develop it's own identity in this way. Same topics being discussed, same members baiting each other out, same in-jokes, anything said against the grain is immediately pounced on etc. That's the internet for you.
For Arsenal chat this place is miles better than Twitter and Facebook though. Land of the trolls there.

Too many of the better posters (not Cripps) have left too.
And the fact that Arsenal are in perma-Groundhog Day doesn't help, there's not loads to talk about which hasn't been talked about a gazillion times.
WENGER OUT!!
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
We get 2 games a year where everyone is buzzing because they've just enjoyed the shit out of a football match - which after all is the purpose of this place. Other than that, the football is a reminder of all the other shit going on. This place was buzzing after the 3-0 over Utd. Everyone had a smile on their face. Not just because of the result, but because the performance gave hope.
That was smashed quickly enough.
Für eure Sicherheit
And I think to add to that football in general is so crap these days. Leicester were a breath of fresh air last year but I suspect the big boys will buy their way back in this year and it will have been a one off.
Thanks, Sky, for the "whole new ball game". It was OK as it was, thanks.
Leadsome to quit Tory leadership race, May is new PM....may well take over ASAP
So does that mean May gets it by de-fault (the two sweetest words in the English language)?
They don't have to vote, she just gets the job if she runs unopposed?
