Traore received a second booking for an ill-timed lunge on Marc Albrighton late on as his side pressed forward in search of an equaliser after Barry Bannan had put Villa ahead with a dubious penalty.
Warnock was visibly seething as his player walked off the pitch, and after the match he condemned the Senegal international's actions.
“I thought it was a disgrace – not the referee, the player, and I’ll fine him as much as I can,” the QPR boss told reporters.
“I pulled him back in the tunnel to tell him what a disgrace he was. I think he understood what I was saying.
“It’s not clever at all. He’s a young lad, and he’s obviously got a lot to learn, but he’s become a very good player. I think he’ll learn from this experience.”
