Like TEG says cause Tv5 is the captain it makes it hard to drop him, so it will always be Merts on Kos dropped. Even if Verm has a few shockers in a row.

From what I've seen of Koscielny, he can play really well but always seems likely to make an error which costs you a goal.

Rarely seems to be able to keep his concentration for 90 minutes, when we played Barca a couple years ago he had a great game, but then gave away a costly penalty.

Top defenders perform when their teams need them most and are largely consistent, not sure he's either today's game would have been the perfect game to show how good he was, a very important game which would signal out intentions.

No idea why Wenger decided to try a different partnership for this game when Merts has been in form and has played well with players. Kos has hardly played this season ad is rusty. At leat keep some form of stability and consistency by playing him with Merts again. Well, let's see if he plays it stubborn for the next match to prove a point or recalls Merts.
