As I said in the other thread, it was a bit like the match against AC Milan a few years ago. Absolutely everything went wrong and we could do nothing right. A nothing performance at the wrong time. It's not as if Liverpool are a bogey team for us like Chelsea or United either. Just a horrible day at the office.

This result can be rendered irrelevant if we can forget it and win the next match as we have after other bad results this season. If a match against United doesn't focus the team, then maybe we haven't progressed that much after all.

Been 3 years since we last beat United.

Whenever we feel like we can do them, they get a win.

Wenget is getting too far away from playing what has been our best team in the season, some of that can't be helped but not playing Rosicky after the game against Liverpool at the Emirates - daft.

I don't get why he has decided not to play Gibbs after so long of playing him whenever he has been fit.

Yeah pretty much this. We were awful at Southampton too but got away with it to a degree. I don't even know what to say to be honest, I have zero faith in this team in the BIG games.
