Wojciech Szczesny has claimed that English players in the Chelsea dressing room have ruined their squad harmony, and it has given Arsenal the edge in the Premier League.
The Polish keeper believes that some of the more senior players are the reason behind the constant managerial changes at Stamford Bridge and is grateful it is not the same at Arsenal.
Chelsea currently sit in one place behind Arsenal fifth, locked in a race for Champions League qualification and Szczesny feels this unrest within the Chelsea team will only benefit the Gunners.
"I think some of the English players at Chelsea run the club, pretty much," he told the Evening Standard.
"They have had seven managers [since 2007] and it's a little bit different here. I don’t think there has ever been danger of chaos with us this season.
"It’s completely different at this club. In the dressing room, we know that Arsene Wenger is the boss. Robin van Persie is our captain and a leader but in the dressing room we're all even.
"All the players believe in what the manager is doing. Sometimes things don’t go our way but we believe in the way the manager runs the club and the way he wants us to play football.
"We know that even if things go wrong for us, we’ll still turn it around. That’s what we’ve done in the last few weeks and I hope we can keep on doing it."
Szczesny has also said that he is not happy with simply securing fourth position in the league, and has set his sights on overcoming north London rivals Tottenham who are third in the league.
"We’re four points behind the other north London club and hopefully we can challenge them," he said.
"I’d be really pleased to see Tottenham in the Europa League next season."
