Seems to Always be 26 when they link him with us, so he actually may be 90.

Arsenal forward Andrey Arshavin is one of a number of players being considered by Reading ahead of the winter transfer window.

The Royals have made a slow start to life back in the Premier League and are still awaiting their first win of the season.

No-one at the Madejski Stadium was under any illusions as to how difficult the 2012/13 campaign was going to be, but they appreciate that there is plenty of room for improvement.

The opening of the January window will allow them to dip back into the market and bring in players that could play a significant role in their efforts to preserve their top-flight status.

Owner Anton Zingarevich will be the man in charge of the purse strings, and he will be making money available.

He admits to having already drawn up a list of possible targets, with Arshavin among those to have caught his eye.

The Russia international has endured a frustrating time at the Emirates of late and could be tempted to make a fresh start at a club that can promise him regular first-team football.

Zingarevich told Spb.jp.ru: "Arshavin is interesting for Reading.

"But he is one of 10 players that we are interested in."

    Doesn't matter who we buy.

If we bought Falcao, he'd be played at left back.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

Well he would be a better option than Santos...

We'll sell Theo to one of our rivals and then probably buy Zaha off Palace.

We're going to have a real problem shifting the junk such as Chamakh, Squillaci et al, oh what a mess!
