I think the refs are listening to shitheads like Gary Neville more than reading the rulebooks these days. Those shithead pundits are always going on, "there was contact, there was contact", while so-called professionals are hurling themselves through the air screaming as if they've been shot up the arsehole. It's a cheater's charter and the refs are onboard. Unless it's Giroud having his shirt ripped off him and being hauled to the ground in front of goal, in which case the "six of one, half a dozen of the other", rule comes into effect. TV likes the controversy and they like shitty refs. Makes for something to talk about and gets people wound up and emotional. Fuck the rules when there are cars and tampons and DIY transgender kits to be advertised and sold.

But he made all those runs!

So let’s ignore the fact he was roasted for their 2nd goal. Not his fault of course, only one person to blame.

Apparently Cech has dived the wrong way 12 times out of the 15 penalties he’s faced.

Yep. I think AMN has the potential to be an outstanding central midfielder for us, he is great on the ball, strong in the tackle, is quick and very calm in possession. This boy could be our “Kante” IMO yet Wenger has him out at left back developing, it defies logic.

As well we have Reiss Nelson who can play there.

I don’t see the need to go through the formality of a penalty kick against us.

Just award a goal and head back to the centre circle.

The difference between how we played last night and how we played on Sunday is marked. Suggests that Ozil is going to be the player we miss when he goes. Also no Iwobi stinking out the place

Three at the back is clearly a non starter especially when you play two defenders who have hardly played in ages. Wenger doesn’t rotate, he just waits till a player gets injured.

I know a lot of people here do not like Mustafi, I think he and Holding could be a decent centre back partnership with the right coaching.

We have a lot of average players, but a lot of decent players. For me we have probably stalled our progression for five years by retaining Wenger. A new manager and Ozil and Sanchez would either have been sold or would have signed a new deal.

With the exception of Liverpool away and city we have on the whole played reasonably well against the top six sides this season. This hasn’t been reflected in points because of Wenger and his tactics which means we start slow.

We need to go back to a back 4 so we can put an extra man in midfield, though we would need to buy a specialist DM for that to work.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
