I had Sky Sports quite a few years ago, ended up cancelling it as I found that I didn't watch it too much for the price and that a friend who lives nearby had it in HD and I could just watch it at his house for free
He ended up cancelling his subscription too though.
I cancelled sky a couple months ago. They just sent me a letter offering the whole lot half price for 12 months.

A friend had one of 'those' satellite dishes put in and he has every sports channel, sky movies, music, docu's, foreign channels, the lot, in HD for £230 a year.
The guy comes over every year and if you want to continue with his dish he tops the codes up.
At the moment I'm paying nearly £500 a year for 5 sports channels, none of which are in HD.
I think I'll be ringing this guy up soon and cancelling my sky subscription. And by soon I mean tomorrow.
