I am reading as little as £6 million however I get the impression Falcao probably didn't want to come.
Assuming we did anything.
The Colombian flag needs to come down later. Sorry Ospina.

Falcao though. He would have been perfect if Wenger insists on sticking with this current system. If you can't get Suarez then Falcao is the next best thing. When the loan fee hit £20mill then fair enough, ludicrous. But £22mill with £10-£15mill back if Podolski goes out - a genuine world class striker who plays the sort of technical football we need, for possibly £7-£12mill net for the year? One or two crucial goals in the CL and we get all that back with bells on.
This is an epic fuck up unless Cavani or Benzema is waiting to be announced. But they aren't, are they. Some 30 year old from Latvia who has been injured for the last 2 years is far more likely.
Falcao and his agent are probably the biggest pair of mercenaries in the business, but even so, we need that damn striker or we're going nowhere. If we aren't competing against a team that didn't make the CL, then we aren't competing at all.

Redcafe for some reason seem to believe the fee is 6 million + wages.
Can't believe that's close to being true as 20 million was the reported rate only a few days ago when us and Liverpool inquired. Guessing they're going to believe it to make themselves feel better about spending so much this window and still looking so shit.
Mind you, if the 6 million figure is true I would be astounded if we didn't seriously go in for him.
Sigh, Man Utd desperately flashing the cash it seems, attracting the mercenaries. Hope they still crash and fail.
Mt stupid cunt (ex) mate in London got it right before all the so called "experts"![]()

Absouletly gutted. I am not interested in watching Jim White and Helen Sawyer any longer now, my dream signing wont happen now those fucking wankers Man Ure have some how convinced Falcao to join the LVG Phiilospohy of spend big and play shit with 3 at the back. Where the fuck is he gonna play, they alredy have Fat boy Dim and RVP? I am so angry that Wenger didnt complete this deal. This was the one player who could win us the league and get us in the last 4 of the champions league, this would have been the marquee signing we have all been waiting for and Wenger and his stubborness just let him go to a team who are going to struggle with or without RF. So pissed off now.
We were quoted £10mill loan fee - according to media today. Then it went to £20mill when the gypos came in. Apparently we were front runners, first in and Monaco agreed the fee. Either player didn't want it (unlikely as he's ended up at Utd) or we wouldn't pay up. I guess this would have all happened before Giroud got injured. Amazing we didn't go straight back and get it done once he picked up the injury though. Seems like we are going with Sanogo until 2015 then. Wenger can hang himself from a bridge if that's the case. He has no excuses for what happens next if Sanogo is the guy he's picked.
real world scenario. Obviously Sanogo won't last. Even Wenger will eventually see how shit he is. Alexis may or may not be able to carry the load until Bif is back. Far from ideal as Alexis is clearly more effective out wide. Or Wenger will have to give Campbell or Akpom a chance.
So my prediction - Campbell and Akpom to go out on loan.

Ifhe didnt want to come then we should have thrown more money at him. hes at Monaco for petes sake, hes used to this whoring lark. Just stopping him going to United would be worth the fee alone. They are our direct rivalsfor 4th place. City, Chelsea and Liverpool may prove uncatchable.
We keep gloating about how we have top businessmen at the club and they cant see how facking with United is financially beneficial?
Giroud and Sanogo. We dont deserve top 4 with that frankly. If the chickens come home to roost then so be it.
