Linked with Jadson again
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...100793,00.htmlShakhtar Donetsk head coach Mircea Lucescu claims Arsenal want their Brazil international playmaker Jadson.
The Gunners have been tipped to move for the 27-year-old with midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri expected to leave.
Jadson's name was mentioned to Arsene Wenger recently, but he stated the club was not in talks with Shakhtar for his services.
However, the Ukraine outfit now claim the Gunners are interested and that a move now depends on the Brazilian himself.
"I can confirm Jadson is wanted by Arsenal," said Lucescu. "Now it all depends on him."
.
Well, I think it has been fairly well proven that we need another playmaker, I'd be skeptical of a short fella who's been hiding out in the Ukraine for a few years but he looks to have talent so...
he wouldnt have to acclimatise too much, as im sure the ukraine league would be as physical as the prem
Jadson is just Wenger's way of carrying on regardless, a supposed replacement for the heart of our tippy-tapping nonsense football. If we sign him (which I doubt we will, I doubt we'll sign anyone else now), it will be Wenger sticking his two fingers up at everyone and instructing more of the same. There's no way we should be looking outside the PL for reinforcements. We can't afford any more bedding-in or acclimatising, we can't afford sudden discoveries of foreign DNA in our key players' blood. Why can't we learn our bloody lessons and take the steps necessary to stabilise the ship?
Für eure Sicherheit
...and why, if Nasri and Fabregas are going for the best part of £50M, are we scratching around in the bargain basement, FFS???! Is Wenger so arrogant and bloody minded that the remote prospect of proving everything wrong by producing a world class player when noone expects it has become more important than stopping the rot that is infecting our team?
Putting the laughter back into manslaughter
Some of the Brazilians that have found their way to Russia and Ukraine are quite good, I've always wanted to see a couple over here. Not going to pretend I know anything about Jadson because I don't but if that's who Cesc's replacement will be then so be it, we're not going to buy Sneijder or anyone like him so there you go.
