Sigh awful result for us in Greece but it's still in our hands barring Olympiakos beating Bayern in the next round.

Assuming we beat Zagreb, we'll have to beat Olympiakos by two clear goals in the last game where they'll probably just park the bus. It's difficult but considering the gulf in class between us and them (at least on paper) it's still quite achievable. No need to start tieing the rope just yet.

Olympiakos aren't that good though. Bayern already thrashed them 3 - 0 in Greece and I wouldn't put it past us doing a similar thing.


Sure, we've never beaten them there before but the last few times we've played them in Greece, we'd already qualified so we played the kids. Won't be the case this time. It'd be our first team and we're going to be all over them from the get go.

There was a coming together as Costa bore down on goal but he was delayed in going down and wanted to see how far he could go. The striker decides he can’t so goes down, but the coming together prior to that exonerates the dive.

Costa’s no Ashley Young, put it that way.

"Exonerates the dive" This from a former ref. Or, "exonerates the cheating", to be precise. In a professional sport.

And then Costa had to be pulled back from complaining at half time for his dive not winning the pen. Mourinho done his usual hyena dance on the bench too, no doubt pissed off that Costa made it look so blatant.
