Obviously most of the info coming out yesterday was utter bollocks, but I'd love to know what happened with Carvalho & Sokratis, arguably players that would really help us mount a title challenge. Were we ever in for them etc.

Dispite the lack of CDM, this has probably been our best transfer window under wengers reign. We've upgraded every position we've lost players in, and brought more senior players in than we've lost.

Between Sanchez and welbeck we might have a gem in there too...

Shame about Carvaliho and Schinderlin. 3rd party ownership scuppered the former while Southampton I just didn't want to sell the other.

Hopefully Coqcoilin and Bellerin step up.

Not against Welbecks signing.......with a position to make his own week in week out it could work out but he's not the sudden game winner bagger I was hoping for but I am keeping my fingers crossed and not too disappointed.....what I am disappointed with and it happens time and time again, after being linked with so many we didn't bring in a replacement at the back and a DM of quality.

Fuck I would have taken Reid if it meant having someone back there to cover, why didn't we go for Richards on loan (and don't say because he is shit!) because we need some kind if cover..:.love Chambers but he is not a machine and we have a full season ahead

Maybe we're hoping to muddle through the first half of the season with 6 senior defenders (7 if Bellerin gets promoted) and the old timers in holding mid. It's not great, but nothing can be done now.

Priority in Jan is to go out and buy a back-up CB and the best young holding mid we can find though.
