A year later, "serious" people (with serious faces) are finally asking serious questions about serious subjects. Wonder what happened to make them change their tune?

Tubes definately busier this week. Last few times going into the office, you get hte 8am tube and barely anyone on. Yesterday, almost back to standing room only.
Srs question, you're both in your 20s and (I'm assuming) relatively healthy. Why are you excited to get an experimental jab for a virus that is of little risk to you? The vaccine may even been more risky than catching covid.

Are you excited every winter to get the flu jab?

    A) it's not experimental

    B) I don't want to be spreading it, even if it would affect me mildly if at all.

That's a good point about the flu jab though, hadn't thought of it like that. I probably should be getting that in the winter for the same reason.

Any countries are going to require vaccines in order to go on holiday there, i have trips booked for later in the year so having the vaccine means that risk of being denied entry is removed. Those entry requirements are also outside our own governments control.

But as WMUG said, i dont want to be spreading it to family or friends etc. It’s not a huge risk to me personally but why risk it for others?

They had thousands of spare vaccines going at Twickenham stadium today. Put out a notice saying anyone over 18 could turn up. Took 45 minutes in total. Excellent stuff & first jab done

    Twickers, eh?

Was it mandatory to turn up in a barbour and drink 10 pints first?

    Soggy biscuit snack after
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

It’s mandatory for Ollie to turn up in a barbour and flat cap anywhere mate
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
