Got my first flight yesterday since covid. Pretty easy tbh, masks were not really enforced on the flight but tbh most people had drinks or food so can’t exactly wear a mask & drink
Hopefully Heathrow will be as easy on the way back. Only downside is jet leg. 5am & wide awake

To get into the Bahamas, one lateral flow test was needed & done. Immigration took 5 mins & pretty easy. Heathrow still quite empty though

Despite this country now being at its lowest ebb in terms of civil liberties since the end of WWII, I did back off. Mainly because it's really not worth talking about such issues with people who aren't interested in or can't see such things.
Yet the WUM continues his campaign regardless.
And do you see his little friend below? Despite the army actually being on the streets in several western nations, to the point where even the BBC has noticed, the poor little sod still can't help himself.
Not a problem for me. I can close the site and get on with something else. This is another type of checkpoint, one that can be referenced in black and white when these two try for the moral high ground despite being covered in their own shit.

And who are you arguing with? I've been consistently against vaccine passports or "no jab, no job" - the care home where MrsL worked is getting rid of people who haven't been vaccinated.
I've never advocated that sort of thing, quite the reverse. But right now day to day civil liberties are as "normal" as they've been since the pandemic started.
Basically everything is open, I've not had to prove my vaccination status anywhere yet, nor have I been forced to take a Covid test.
