Sadly that is the case Liverpool have no one near them apart from Man City and they're having a bad time of it theselves.

Joe Linton heads on to the bar!
By quality of football and entertainment, definitely. And last year was second worst ever, and the year before that, third worst ever. The standard is falling as fast as wages are rising. And that's pretty fucking fast. Football is more about the marketing now than the sport. I saw Oculous released their Go system which does exactly what I predicted sport would become several years back. A virtual environment, detached from reality, with computer enhancement providing the entertainment around the event, rather than the event itself. Money has killed every aspect of humanity. Now you can see shit-kickers earning 10 year's salary a week, flopping on the ground, screaming, throwing tantrums to "entertain" fuckwads who value their mobile device more than their family members. This is why it has been so easy to push warmism and trannies, peados, fags, primitive religions and all the other shit on once civilised people. It's all intertwined and deliberate. Notice how there's a campaign for fags, a campaign against close on non-existent racism but no campaign for decent football or cheat free football. You can see where their priorities are and, of course, the sport has suffered.

Mount.![]()
I think a lot of the problem with modern football (the actual footballing part of it) is that it has never been more athletic but the downside of that is the loss of special players.
Until Martinelli came along of course.
