This is fucking ridiculous, so the only midfielder we're getting is the loan signing of Benayoun? Fuck off Arsene, you've now consigned this club to midtable mediocrity. If we had signed Arteta along with another midfielder like M'Vila, I'd have said that was acceptable business given we'd have concluded those two signings on the last day of the window. But we can't even get Arteta, and rely on an injury prone has-been like Benayoun. Given that it's a loan signing, we're not even willing to make use of the transfer funds we received from the sales of Nasri and Cesc. That money is obviously going to feather the nests of our greedy board.
Wenger must leave in January.
Yep pretty much how I feel. I wouldn't have even minded him signing if we were also signing the likes of M'Vila & Hazard. Underwhelming; on his day a very good player but that day wasn't often enough for Liverpool, so who knows how frequent it will be after pretty much a year out.

Apparently Arteta failed to agree personal terms with us. FFS come on he surely was asking for £100k so wheres the problem? M'Vila and Martin or you can fuck off! RvP and Walcott to go next season?
Of course we haven't confirmed Benayoun yet, if that's all we can get then let's hope we can get him, if only to fill a spot when he's not injured. Plus in many ways a loan is better because we won't get stuck with him, fucking Diaby, Almunia, Bendtner, Wenger - still all on the books, can't get shot of them.
