Swansea Vs The Arsenal Sat 28th Sept 17:30pm SS1

This is going to be a tough one. Little bit worried.

Not sure we have anyone back from injury for this....

We could use some pace....do we have any?

    Sagan Mert Kos Gibbs

    Flamini

    Gnabry Özil Rambo Jack

    Giroud

Tbh I'd be tempted to have Arteta in for Gnabry and take them on in a Barcelona imitation contest. Going to be tough in any case.

Once the Flamster's scared Michu (bless you!) into quiescence it should be a breeze. 0-4 Gnabbers and a Giroud hat-trick

Always expect a tough game with Swansealona, if we allow them as much time on the ball as we did with Stoke they'll punish us.

Should be an entertaining game though.

    1-2.

Monreal and Gibbs on the left. Wilshere on the right. Ozil, Ramsey, Flamini central. Obvs. #classicarsene

    So many injuries!!!

I think Laudrup will have realised we are more willing to let teams have the ball and sit in an organised fashion waiting to counter. As a result he will want to do what Arsene often speaks about trying to do to other teams: Move us out of position.... probably by getting their midfielder's to go wide before finding an unsuspecting outlet that pops up in the middle.

I also think that Ramsey is okay starting from his deeper position alongside a partner because it has helped him ghost into goal scoring positions as the opposition are often slow to pick him up...... despite the fact he is scoring every game and they would have obviously earmarked him in their dressing room. I'd be tempted to play Arteta wide right (it is preferable to Wilshere wide imo) but I wouldn't want to give him too many games too soon.

    ---------------Szczesny---------------

    Sagna-----Merkyl-------KOS------Gibbs

    ---------Flamini------Ramsey-----------

    Gnabry--------Wilshere-----------M.Ozil

    ---------------Giroud------------------

Gibbs over Gnabry on the left might be a shout.

    Quicker and more direct.

We need width in this game.

Hang on I mean Gibbs on left and Ozil/Wilshere on the right. Gnabry is right footed.

Gnabs is a left footer isn't he??

Was certainly cutting inside a lot against Stoke....
