Surely even with the flip flops on we'll be able to finish the job here and seal the 3rd place trophy?
2-0.

Arsenal 1-2 Wigan.
You get me?
No. We are playing Sunderland.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
Since Sunderland were last promoted, their record at the emirates is lose, draw, lose, draw, lose, draw, lose
All of the draws have been 0-0 so if that pattern continues that's the result most likely this evening. Also bare in mind that Sunderland don't need to win, they only need a point to guarantee safety and given that we only need a point to pretty much get third it kind of suggests a result that suits both sides.
Don't know the last time Sunderland beat us at home in the league, the last time in any competition was 3-2 at Highbury in the Worthington cup in 2002.

It is quite possible to lose this match, as Sunderland manager will out smart Arsene tactically. As normal we will have no answer when opposition decide to rough us up.
A depressing 0-0. Then again, depends what team starts. Wenger might make a few changes so who knows how that will turn out?
