    Wigan Athletic v Arsenal - FA Cup Semi-Final - Saturday 12 April (17:07/ITV)

    V

Going into this on a shocking run of form. Negative momentum. A loss is unthinkable really.

If Wenger goes with the same lethargic, rigid, uninspiring team again, a loss is quite likely because there's just nothing there. No chemistry, no ideas, no confidence, no pace, no runners, nothing. Ramsey might be injured and Sanogo might be the poor tramp's Adebayor, but they will offer much of what has been missing. Depending on their recovery, Koscielny, Gibbs and maybe even Gnabry are musts too.

    Hopefully:

    Fabianski

    Sagna
    Mertesacker
    Koscielny
    Gibbs

    Kallstrom
    Ramsey
    Rosicky

    Gnabry
    Sanogo
    Oxlade

    Likely:

    Fabianski

    Sagna
    Mertesacker
    Vermaelen
    Monreal

    Arteta
    Flamini
    Rosicky

    Podolski
    Giroud
    Cazorla

    WUMger's final and greatest WUM?

A positive team and we win 3-1. The inevitable negative team and we lose 2-1 in extra time after Cazorla loses it high up the pitch and Al-Habsi just strolls through our defence and midfield and calmly slots through Monreal and Vermaelen's legs, which are open in unison.

Wigan will be fearless and vibrant.

    We won't be.

We'll win it, just about. 1-0.

    Oh deary me.

Flamini is suspended so we can't see the Arteta/Flamini creative hub.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lost this game.

Flamini out means we'll have no threat up front.

NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Not sure that we should be considered the favourites for this. That is where I think our season has gone.

As a great poster once said.....well, actually, he said so many a times, We have Wenger, so ....... favourites.....

Wigan will licking their lips at the prospect of upending us no doubt.

Think we'll pub a win, though. We have to.

we are massive favourites really in this game. Wigan might have knocked out City at there place but ....... oh wait a minute. we will have all the possession and wigan will just sit back and defend and try to nick one on the break like they did against city. we score first and it will be comfortable, they score first and the team could implode. we desperately miss Walcott.

I'm going, still having flashbacks to Highbury v Wigan...that goal....out of the cup
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
