Possibly but then you’d have to ask yourself why they didn’t do that when they batted first, when the pitch and the wicket was at its most amenable.
The fact that there have been a lot of clean bowls from Australia, suggests it’s not going to be a good wicket to bat on from here on in…especially with changeable weather
It’s nice to say “Bloody hell” in relation to Johnny Bairstow in a good way
Oh no, Bairstow not out on 99 but Anderson gets pinned lbw by Green
That’s just cruel oh well 592 all out, a lead of 275
Khawaja gets a Nick and is caught behind 32-1
113-4 close of play
Woop
This is definitely England's game.
The weather forecast is so grim though.
It's bucketing down and basically over

The day much like the Ashes itself, proved to be a bit of a damp squib for England
Still though after four tests I feel I can say if Australia are the best side in the world currently then Test Cricket is in the doldrums.
Don’t get me wrong, England are still only marginally better than a few years ago when Steve Smith batted us off the park, but if we’d had Archer and Leach we’d have won this series and by a comfortable margin. Australian batting was mediocre at best, aside from the second innings at Lords their bowling was massively aided by our suicidal tendency to need to play at everything.
Disappointing way for it to end, but ultimately no one to blame but ourselves…how we managed to fuck up at Edgbaston so badly I will never know. Oh well
