Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspufs - FA Cup Third Round - Saturday 4th January - 17:15 (ITV)

Would be nice to have some players back, but it's unlikely they'll have recovered in a few days.

With a (mostly) fit squad to choose from, I think we'd be quite comfortable winners. But Spurs have some injuries too and will similarly have to rotate after the Christmas fixtures.

I think Wenger will go as strong as possible and he should, considering we'll have a good long rest before the game at Villa.

    Fabianski

    Sagna
    BFG/Vermaelen
    Koscielny
    Monreal/Gibbs

    Arteta
    Wilshere
    Rosicky

    Cazorla
    Giroud/Podolski
    Theo

    2-1 (Theo, Wilshere).

    Come on Arsenal .

Cazorla is due a rest IMO, I think he started all games since our home game against Chelsea.

    Play the strongest possible team.

It's the Spuds and a chance of silverware.

Go all out for the win.

Giroud is a big doubt for the game according to Wenger.

    Vermaelen
    Koscielny
    Monreal

    Arteta
    Wilshere

    Podolski (LW)
    Rosicky (CAM)

    Theo (CF)

Due to come back in full training, he will not be ready for this game.

Verm for Per 100% IMO. Big man's played bare init.

As for the rest, it depends on what Arsene sees in training. I trust his judgment.

Sounds harsh on Flappy, but I would play the younger Pole. It's the end of our every 3 days a game schedule so absolutely play Giroud if he is fit. The next game after this is in a while. Sanogo is supposed to be back this month too. Not that he is the strongest consideration.

    -------------------Szczesny-------------------

    Sagna--------KOS----------VM8R---------Gibbs

    ----------Arteta-----------Rosicky-------------

    Walcott-----------Wilshere--------------Podolski

    ----------------Olivier Giroud-------------------

Bit of a short team though, so I'd be tempted to throw the BFG in anyway..... Most definitely would if Giroud didn't play.
