Think it's safe to say Wenger made the right decision in not signing a keeper the other year. This kid is quality and has a real presence about him, much like Jens and Seamo. I think the key thing is that he's a big personality and all the best keepers are like that, cult heroes in their own right.
Loved this guy ever since he became number 1 and I'm absolutely delighted the days of Almunia and Fabianksi practically chucking the ball into the net are long gone.

really strong start to the season and will eat up the massive confidence boost he got from tonight. fabianski is a solid replacement who was playing very well last year too, so i think that issue no longer exists.
Yeah he's a decent keeper I like him. Typical Arsene solves a problem in one position and then creates them in about 3 other positions!

AW was never going to give him the number 1 jersey though, he started with Almunia (stuck with him) but when he messed up badly he gave Fabianski the position until he got injured, so not sure this has turned out as he planned.
