Oh this is an unmitigated disaster.

We might actually have to do some work now.

and rightly so. Win against nowrich and hope for the best on sunday. City could get a point at barcodes but can't see Villa doing us a favour.

Still all bolton as they try to rescue a match that has been cruelly ripped away from them by outrageous fortune. Possession now 80% in their favour but still every little bobble and bounce goes against them.

Cisse has just scored goal of the season.

Outside of the boot, curls round Cech into the inside of the far post.

Screamer.

The Bridge is emptying fast

I've got a better idea:

Win against the mighty Norwich and the mighty WBA so we don't have to give a fuck about how the others get on.

Yeah one point ahead of 4th and 5th.

IMHO We basically need to finish 3rd which means winning both our remaining games. The Chavs domestic season is over and we're now in a REAL battle with the Spuds & Geordies for 3rd.

Got a feeling the Chavs will win CL.

I'm not sure how it's come to this but we absolutely have to deliver now.

Which is precisely what's going to happen. Because there's no chance of us risking a 5th place with CL money at stake and it looks like this may go to the last week now.

we wouldn't have kept winning and our general inconsistency (along with the teams around us) was always going to make it a tight one. we shouldn't even be there really but spurs fucked up - lets hope our lot make the most of what they have now. i'm sure of the next game - wba away could either be flat as hell with woy leaving or bang up for it as a farewell.

Unfortunately we can't vote Chelsea out of the Champions League. If football wasn't so bloody stupid (read unpredictable) we wouldn't have to worry about this scenario.

In reality all 4 teams have that same fear now. Chavs don't know if they will be in the CL neither do the others.

Like you say its in our hands and hopefully this time we have learned how to keep a lead.

Yeah, it's just about momentum really. Newcastle have been ridiculous lately and Spurs have managed to claw back the lead we built over them. We're the ones out of form and the pressure is probably greatest on us, given how comfortable we were.

Anyway, it's all on the Norwich game. Just bloody win that and we can sit back and hope for dropped points on Sunday in peace.
