Third UEFA ban is looming for Wenger after alleged F-word rant at referee

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will find out on Thursday if he is to serve a third UEFA touchline ban in 12 months after his alleged F-word rant towards a referee.

The Gunners manager was charged with improper conduct after his side’s Champions League exit to AC Milan earlier this month.

Wenger’s case is due to be heard by UEFA’s disciplinary panel in Nyon, although the Frenchman is expected to stay in England to prepare for Saturday’s trip to Queens Park Rangers.
