Ultimately you can praise a goalkeeper for making top saves, but when a team dominates like PSG did and comes away with nothing…it’s down to them being wasteful. A goalkeeper is the last line of defence but like with pel shootouts, the obligation is on the goalscorer more than the keeper.Quote:

If I recall, our draw against PSG in 2016 was a bit fortuitous. They caught us cold at the beginning, but they should have been out of sight by the time Alexis drew us level.

I'm not entirely sure how that penalty wasn't given (it wasn't disallowed, which is a subtle difference). Konate's defence is that he is just too strong :lol:
But I believe this is the 3rd or 4th time PSG have similarly battered a team and not taken advantage. At that point, it's down to them.
The second leg will be interesting. Obviously we're at home so naturally, favourites, but it only takes 1 or 2 of those chances to go in and it's a very different tie.
