Not sure I’d say a top keeper having a worldie is down to luck.
But things like facing City without Haaland, Newcastle without Isak and now Gordon will be missing the cup final too is a bit jammy.

How about PSG's disallowed pel?
Putting the laughter back into manslaughter
Ultimately you can praise a goalkeeper for making top saves, but when a team dominates like PSG did and comes away with nothing…it’s down to them being wasteful. A goalkeeper is the last line of defence but like with pel shootouts, the obligation is on the goalscorer more than the keeper.
A good team knows how to ride its luck. So I have to say fair play to Liverpool, Man United in its prime would get smash and grab results all the time. Both in the premier league and Europe.
If I recall, our draw against PSG in 2016 was a bit fortuitous. They caught us cold at the beginning, but they should have been out of sight by the time Alexis drew us level.
Also when you think of the 4-0 lead PSG blew against Barcelona….they've got form for this
I'm not entirely sure how that penalty wasn't given (it wasn't disallowed, which is a subtle difference). Konate's defence is that he is just too strong
But I believe this is the 3rd or 4th time PSG have similarly battered a team and not taken advantage. At that point, it's down to them.
The second leg will be interesting. Obviously we're at home so naturally, favourites, but it only takes 1 or 2 of those chances to go in and it's a very different tie.
PSG are in a position where they have to come out and attack, should be quite easy for you to pick them off like flies
I think for PSG to have had any chance in the tie they would have needed to have a two goal lead in the first leg (and even that guarantees nothing given they even went out to United despite winning 2-0 at Old Trafford).
If we're talking about the same incident, I'm not sure it was actually in the box.
But it was definitely a foul and given the goal-scoring opportunity I'd argue it was a red card.
I think we can all agree that none of this season's trophies for Liverpool count - I'm citing the jammy bastards clause.
Yep same incident, and yep it’s not a pel but it should have been a red card no question
Yes tbf I think I conflated red card with penalty. Either way, can't believe it wasn't given.
I'd love another lockdown ngl. I'd be willing to take another "null and void". 5 years ago
Edit: APparently it may well have been offside anyway, so a moo point.

He is quite a bit good.
Anyway Liverpool game on Prime, the other two are on TNT Sports.
Yamal is a little bit scary at that age. He's a little bit scary at any age tbh.
