Shut up, Wenger commiserator.

you sir are a turd.
you realise the only small, tiny, minuscule chance we have of getting suarez is because we are in the champions league? take that away and we really have nothing.
i remember all those polls months ago, 'would you rather take 5th and carling cup or 4th and no cup?'. i always used to go for 5th + cup but now realise exactly why it was a silly choice. if we drop out of the champions league we wont be back in it under the current manager, and it leaves the next manager with even more work to do. we'll be the next liverpool for sure (although we are probably on our way already tbf, just at a slower pace). if anything, we need champions league for the next guy because he has one hell of a job to do.
Why do people think Wenger never comes on here? It's so strange.
We demand a different boat!
We miss out againQuote:

The mirror reckons bale a deal for bale has been agreed - £105m
How the fuck????!!!???
Your sentiments couldn't be any further from the truth.
I'm not slagging off anyone, but some posters act as though they are Wenger's bloody thought processes, whilst some simply refuse to acknowledge that the course the Board want to chart is in direct conflict with Wenger's 'principles'.
I suspected that there was going to be trouble the moment Ivan made utterances about the Club's improved financial standings and intent to spend big this transfer window. It just isn't Wenger's way and he seems incapable of adapting to the new football order. Not that I can slate him for standing up for what he believes, but ffs dont hold back the Club because of what you deem to be right or wrong. Step aside if you aren't willing to change.
Wenger has never believed in Marquee signings, especially those that have a considerable price tag attached to them - proof being that he's never made one in the 17 years he's been here. Our transfer record is a what.....a staggering 15 mil, right? Even the shower from up the road piss on us where transfers are concerned.
We've seen his way, which worked wonders over a decade ago, but now the game has changed. You either get with the program or stand the fuck down.
Yeah that's a lot of money to spend, as good as he is he's one player, the money from this will allow them to buy 4 top quality players on top of what they have......we'll be in deep sh*t tbh if they do, because our squad is down to the bare bones and our manager has deluded himself into thinking it's championship challenging.
Got to agree with this, other than CL football we have nothing, we have no top players, we don't spend, we haven't won anything for years and won't be for some time at this rate, it just makes more sense to go to a club who can challenge for silverware otherwise he may as well stay at Liverpool (they've at least spent money this summer).
Wright is a dick.
I don't think he is personally, wears his heart on his sleeve, loves Arsenal and just wants to see them at the top again.
He's questioned the direction of the club for many a year and let's face it he's been right. His opinion in this article is kinda correct, we have CL football yes but a player like Suarez must be wanting to win trophies rather than get 4th every season.
He is not the sharpest knife in the cutlery tray.
But there are points in that article which are plain to see. I cannot see what Suarez would get out of us other than a few Group games (if we even qualify for that) against a bunch of nothing teams and a last 16 exit.
Well isn't the point without better quality players, we probably won't get higher than third/fourth or past the last 16? The funny thing is, talking like Wright does is just saying 'we have our place and that's where we'll occupy for the forseeable' when that's exactly what the club has been criticised for doing.
I couldn't care what Suarez's motivation for joining would be, just get it done.
He's an idiot.Quote:
I think they need a goalkeeper, two centre-halves, two full-backs - for both left-back and right-back positions - another midfielder and two strikers.
Listen shit for brains, I couldn't give a toss if we fail to qualify in the champions league, we will never make any big signings under the current regime champions league spot or not and you know it. You are like all the other Wengerites and Blind Faith fans who have this belief there is a slight chance of top players coming to our club. You name me the last time under wenger we signed a top class player out of the clutches of cit, manu, chelsea and the big European clubs???? The best thing that can happen to this club right now is failure and a complete change of the management team, when a manager has cart blanche like this french ****, then he can do no wrong and runs the club top to bottom.
Because it isn't in Suarez's best interests to come here.
I don't think it is in our best interests either.
top scorer in ligue 1 before he joined us

:tiphat:
Wright is supposed to be an Arsenal fan and as a fan he shouldn't be concerned about what Suarez's best career choice would be. We'd be getting a top player which is the only thing that matters.
Questioning the decision is for Liverpool fans and others.
I think Wright has been misrepresented in this piece. I was going to slate him but when you read it in full it just seems like he’s weighing up the deal like we’ve all done on here. He’d love for him to come to the club but unless Suarez Is desperate to leave Liverpool, why move to Arsenal? He mentions Gerrard in that piece and what he said about the Suarez situation and I’m guessing the journalist asked Wright for his opinion on what Gerrard said.
