Kid can play in the midfield or defence. Jack of all trades but master of none type player.
I think he'll probably be shit and good.
I think with Sanogo and Ginter we go into the new season as clear favourites for the title. And still nothing spent as we can pay for this guy from the money saved on ditching half the squad. PLUS we can sign someone else down the line from the money we'll be saving when we ditch these two players, provided anyone wants them. This is all very prudent.
And be honest. With all the talk of Suarez and Higuain and Rooney, nobody once mentioned Ginter, did they? So the smokescreen has been 100% effective. I;d love to be a fly on the wall at city or the chavs today. Boom, they are looking one way and meanwhile Ginter slips right under their noses.
no one has said he is great, everyone has been saying be it here or twitter etc, taht he could good signing if we get him AS WELL AS top class players. yet you come in with a pointless comment that people will just say he is great regardless when others have already written him off already and no one has said he is great
We'll see in 4 weeks. So far everything is as always, some bargain bucket signings that won't have any impact on the team this season. And a whole bunch of promises about big signings but still all words and no action. Plus an embarrassing and amateurish slapstick performance at the negotiating table again. All in all the odds must be pointing to the club fucking the fans up the arse again and cynicism based on 8 years of getting fucked hard is pretty understandable. Maybe this year it will be different... or next, or next, or next...
Just skipping past it to the underlying point and the reason there's a rift between sections of the fans. But winding back, I think it's correct. There's a group of the fans that will continue to put out club PR that flies in the face of the realities. I don't think it's unreasonable to point that out because it's already happening.
Sounds like a good signing...

We still need a couple top quality players coming in though but if we have actually paid money for someone, that at least is progress.
Who the hell is Ginter and we're not really signing him are we?
Sanogo is enough for the WUM signings this summer.
Also, let's not forget this has come from the Sun.
Dunno, I'm quite happy with Ginter. Young, German and seems to be quite good. Probably will go on to become a top CB in a year or two the same way Kos has.
As a stand alone transfer it does make sense however in the context of this summer with the lack of signings overall, yes it is frustrating I suppose.
Freiburg already denying it.

German Efficiency
The quality young players we have just got their arses handed to them in a 7-0 defeat by a non-league team. Maybe we've had enough of quality young players now and just need to get on and spend some of that mountain of cash the club has been raking in. Get a proper team together and then supplement with quality young players, not the other way around. I mean who's not sick of this bullshit now?

If any of that is true then two things:
1. Guardiola must be a moron
2. We must, must, must get this player
Somehow we're getting £7m for Gervinho :haha:
He's arrived in Italy:

No. Hasn't yet, tbh. He's cost up dearly for most of the time he's been here and was an absolute disaster that no one wanted near the team till he finally put in a decent shift last 10 games of last season. Though I wish for his fine form to continue, it's still too early to say he's worked out well, IMO. Give him at least a few games in the 1st half of the season before making such a conviction.
Except when he was crap in his first season. I am fan of Koscielny, so live in hope that he maintains his form but let's not start rewriting history now. Also for every Kozzer there's a stepanovs, djorou, senderos and that big French disaster, whose name escapes me not to mention that shit Silvestre.
Yep, in the main crap in his first season. But he turned it around well and he's quickly establishing himself as our next major sale.
There's no middle ground on the internet of course, but Koscielny was good in his first season, albeit with several instances of growing pains.
He was our best player in his second season.
When he finally displaced Vermaelen and took his rightful place in defence last season, he was our best player once again.
Or alternatively: "lolz kos haz had 10 good gamez and iz scorez own goals and is a kalamatee".
SPEND SOME FUCKING MONEY OR PISS OFF YOU TIGHT WAD
