Most people recognise he's the wrong type of player to sign, we're not after youngsters who aren't proven at this stage and shouldn't be looking at them.

We need established players to come in to improve the quality of the team.

I think with Sanogo and Ginter we go into the new season as clear favourites for the title. And still nothing spent as we can pay for this guy from the money saved on ditching half the squad. PLUS we can sign someone else down the line from the money we'll be saving when we ditch these two players, provided anyone wants them. This is all very prudent.

i completely agree with that, however what you said was that there would be some who would label him as great regardless of how he performs when no one has said that, in fact its all been negative.

And be honest. With all the talk of Suarez and Higuain and Rooney, nobody once mentioned Ginter, did they? So the smokescreen has been 100% effective. I;d love to be a fly on the wall at city or the chavs today. Boom, they are looking one way and meanwhile Ginter slips right under their noses.

Yes I did, because some will (I won't name names) as they do with other players who clearly aren't.
