Rooney's coming home
i dont think he is either which is why he needs that Dein figure back. Dein used to ask wenger who he wanted, and then just sign them while wenger dithered anyway. he wouldnt listen to wengers idea about the price, he jsut signed him. wenger was a winner when he had someone doing that. and i still think he will be a winner if he has someone doing that again.
otherwise i cant really argue with what LDG said
The issue for me though is that he has become so powerful he won't accept a CEO coming in and telling himn what to do.
Its sad to see, as I've been a supporter of his even during the tough times. But I would be fully behind him not being offered a new contract and leaving next summer (he won't be sacked). We need change, and I don't think a new CEO would bring that whilst Wenger is still here.
I don't know what's wrong with some of you, I think some people are just never happy.
You wanted a new striker, he signed a new striker, you wanted rid of the deadwood, he got rid of the deadwood.
FFS you can't please some people.
Should have just bought fucking Higuain ffs
The only person to blame is Wenger, the fucking cunt.
Maybe it’s best we go into the new season as we are and without spending money. Unless this is some brilliant and well calculated transfer strategy, it’s best Wenger keeps his hand in his pockets. A last minute shopping dash is too much of a gamble. I’d rather we kept the money in the bank for a new manager. Wenger will walk if this season is another write off. It’s going to be an ugly exit for the man. His pride and ego will get the better of him when the fans and English press turn on him. No need for a sacking, he just won’t sign a new deal and talk some guff about not outstaying his welcome. It’s going to be sad end for him at this rate.
I mean all those 'Higuain is close' stories, got all of us excited for the season ahead. Higuain got so close that a case had to filed against Wenger or something. These fuckers in charge of the club have fucked us off the wrong way for too long now. £300m Puma deal, who the fuck cares. Beyond pissed off , fuck even going to the stadium and wasting £60+ each time to line the coffers.
Also look at Klopp, knows Lewandowski is going, Gotze went, he went out and got replacements who can get the job done,
Aubamayang / Mkhtaryan , Aubamayang scored a hattrick in his first game
there is no good reason not to spend money, even if it means wenger goes. the reason for that, is this squad is good enough to beat the best on their day, its not got enough depth to last the season. if we dont spend money now, we will be lucky to get euorpa league football next year. the new manager will come in and have a shit load of cash to spend but no top players to sign, why would they sign for a europa league club when they will most likely be at champions league clubs themselves? spending no money is a fucktarded plan, no good will come of it even if it means the end of wenger as some want. the damage will be too great
Don't worry guys.
We still have our world renowned youth players who can come in and do a job.
I'm sure losing 5-1 to Colchester United last night to follow on from the Luton humiliation will have no bearing...

Perez. :rose:
Okay this is a list of players we are likely to get, no fees upfront, shit load on wages which Wenger prefers:
Carlton Cole
Anton Ferdinand
Papa Bouba Diop
All free agents, all available to sign today .
Diop
I remember him
is he still top top top quality cos if he isnt then a free signing may prove too expensive!
The likes of Eisfeld and zimzalazim are awful
If we drop points at home to Villa then the shit will hit the fan. When this team loses it's first game it'll turn into a run of shocking form that we get every season. Wenger must love getting dogs abuse from his own fans, I can't think of any other reason why he hasn't strengthened the team at least a little bit!! FFS!!
Spending money without a plan is what’s fucktarded. It’s clear there isn’t one in place and the last thing we need is Wenger to leave us in a Liverpool situation. The team is in bad shape and if he pisses money up the wall in his last year it leaves the next manager without a pot to piss in. Even if we spend money at this stage, I have no faith in him at all to use it wisely or get us further up the table.
Surely there's a hidden clause in Wenger's contract, that in addition to his £7m a year, that he gets to keep 60% of what remains in the warchest to take home with him ?
as soon as villa take the lead shit will hit the fan. well for once the emirates might acutally be quite loud and have an intimidating atmosphere.
just a shame it will be loud and intimating against our own, not the opposition.
sweepstake time. what minute will the first "spend some fucking money" chant be heard. i reckon 7 minutes
We still have a shiny new stadium that's too expensive to get into (owned by the club) - never forget that. All we've had to pay in return is double ticket prices, an absolute decline in the football standard, the departure of all our best players and a comprehensive lack of success on the pitch. But there was the promise of a big pay-off once the plan unfolded. Profits are up, sponsorship deals arranged, merchandising on the up, a big pile of cash in the bank. So finally, after all these years, the net result for the fans is... Yaya Sanogo. Poor guy, it's not his fault of course.
In a way it's lucky they didn't mention any of this before we quit Highbury. I have a feeling some of the fans wouldn't have gone along with it. Any chants from the seats won't make any difference. If they are prepared to rob the club of everything in such a blatant manner then a few chants won't stand in their way.
It depends really on how much longer Wenger continues with all this BS, the new stadium was meant to allow us to compete with the big guns.
What's the use if it isn't spent ? I'd much rather we had stayed at Highbury and made small but frequent signings every year to improve the squad, rather than being in a position when we're so shit and at the bare bones that we need back up and cover in nearly every place of the pitch.
Get Wenger out now, enough is enough ffs.
Gustavo isn't coming to us either, he's going to Napoli/Barca ...
Holy shit !
Spurs sell Tom Huddlestone for £5.25m to Hull !
