Maybe it’s best we go into the new season as we are and without spending money. Unless this is some brilliant and well calculated transfer strategy, it’s best Wenger keeps his hand in his pockets. A last minute shopping dash is too much of a gamble. I’d rather we kept the money in the bank for a new manager. Wenger will walk if this season is another write off. there is no good reason not to spend money, even if it means wenger goes. the reason for that, is this squad is good enough to beat the best on their day, its not got enough depth to last the season. if we dont spend money now, we will be lucky to get euorpa league football next year. the new manager will come in and have a shit load of cash to spend but no top players to sign, why would they sign for a europa league club when they will most likely be at champions league clubs themselves? spending no money is a fucktarded plan, no good will come of it even if it means the end of wenger as some want. the damage will be too great
