Arsenal.
Keown thinks Mourinho has worked his magic on Falcao already.
Garbage judgement from Keown in general - for a change. Not sure why he's grouping Wenger together with a cunt like Mourinho.
Very poor post match analysis. The discussion on handshakegate was overdone yet still avoided any mention of context. In what world would anyone subjected to years of bile want to shake that narcissistic scroate's hand and who in their right mind would expect Wenger to do so?
Well done Wenger.
A handshake is undermined if the parties concerned don't like or respect one another. If it's disingenuous, why bother with the charade? Also, more pertinently, Mourinho is a total dick.
Yeah, he's turning into a massive twat tbf. Who wants to shake hands with a wanker who insults you all year long? I mean he's only called him a paedophile and a specialist in failure, so what the fuck is Wenger's problem?
Wenger should be applauded for not kicking the little bitch in the balls. But like any grinning, middle of the road idiot, Keown and most of his co-dribblers just want to be "mature" about these things. Can't have an opinion that deviates a single degree from the line being shat out by the PC crowd.
Oh, and Cech is great. Classy keeper and he seems to be brilliant for the dressing room. Top, top pro.
No idea why people had reservations about getting him. A slam dunk of a signing.
Yep, you never have any fear that he's going to fuck up.
Chelsea sold us their best goalkeeper :haha:
Chelsea fans in the office.
"Didn't watch it as don't regard it as a trophy"
Cunts
Chelsea are literally the worst team in football.
I actually do detest them more than Spurs, they have zero redeeming features.
At least Spurs had Teddy.
Oh shut up.
Can you imagine if Cech regularly wins us points..... Mourinho is going to explode with rage... it will be hilarious.
I thought we played pretty well yesterday and we did beat them Chelsea style by sitting back soaking up the pressure... letting them have pointless possession. Hazard should have scored but having Cech in goal put the pressure on. Cech for player of the year as we do the league and cup double.
Or is that taking things a little too far?
Alan Smith's ratings. What an arse.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/...player-ratings
Ozil 5, Hazard 6
There's a fashionable prejudice across the whole media, even among ex-pros. I think they only see the TV moments and have forgotten to watch the rest of the game, even though some of them used to play it week-in, week-out. Even then, how do they rate Hazard that highly after his own embarrassing TV moment?
For me one of the sweetest aspects of stuffing those despicable chavs is the media hacks and thicko pundits crying in their breakfast vodkas this morning.
Didn't see the match, very good result however and we finally beat Chelsea after years of trying, the one caveat being that this won't necessarily represent how the season goes, remember Man U getting thrashed by Newcastle 4 or 5 nil and then doing then thrashing them 5-0 in the first fixture between the two sides in the league.
A nice bonus and good to get a trophy, but the hard work starts next week.
As for the opinions like I said didn't see the match, but people are entitled to their opinion, Smith and Keown are entitled to say what they think, they're Arsenal through and through.
They are media through and through. Yes, they are perfectly entitled to say what they think. So I wonder why they never do it, preferring instead the set menu?
I don't think many people watched it because it was on BT Sport. Champs League will go the same way. Can't believe they have all the rights. What about highlights?
Sick of the media making a mountain out of the handshake crap... its a fucking handshake, get the fuck over it! I think there is a lot of positives to take from this, and the squad should ignore the bollocks in the papers and realize that they have it in them to be PL champions. We have a smashing squad and barring injuries and stupidity, this squad should seriously challenge for the PL.
Just stream it like millions of others do. I'm glad they've got it because Sky held a monopoly for too long and needed a kick up their arse. Hopefully finally having some real competition will benefit the consumer in the end with better pricing and service. Maybe that won't happen but at least they've been given something to think about at last.
The quality of most streams are poor. I'm sure I'll watch some of the bigger games on streams but in no hurry to purchase BT sports.
You could at least watch games on ITV. Sky didn't have a monopoly on the Champs League at least. Now it's swung the other way with BT Sport having a true monopoly. It's not better for customers at all. Sky won't drop their prices and neither will BT. It means customers have to pay more for both or choose one and go without. It's not like the energy market where you can switch providers for a cheaper deal but get the same product.
I have BT Sports but through the broadband offer. The problem with more competition is that you need more channels to watch it which costs more money. If Sky held everything then even if they raised prices it wouldn't cost more than having Sky and BT combined. So the customer is actually better off.
I know everyone in the football world is greedy but I do think it would have been a good idea to offer say one of the Premier League packages to terrestrial tv and they bid against each other. When the premier league is earning so much from all the packages 1/2bn isn't actually going to make much difference as most of the money ends up with the players anyway and doesn't exactly enhance the long term future of the game.
Wenger.
you can literally hear wenger murmuring "cunting dickhead" under his breath
I really, really despise Mourinho. Almost, but not quite, as much as Zim despises Wenger.
It's almost unhealthy how much I dislike him.
He is Chelsea personified, horrible club, horrible fans, horrible players, horrible owner, horrible horrible manager.
I used to think Wenger was being a dick not shaking hands in some situations - and at times he has been graceless and it seemed like sour grapes after a poor result. But he was spot on on Sunday. Mourinho has shown Wenger no respect, endless unnecessary jibes. I wouldn't have shaken his hand either. Wenger did the dignified thing.
So it looks like this handshake thing is keeping the drunken retard journos occupied.

He's a child. He's no master manipulator, he's just a pathetic sack of shit. The annoying part isn't actually Mourinho himself. A monumental cunt won't wind you up if the prevailing opinion is that he is a cunt and nobody takes him seriously. Nigel Farage, Piers Morgan etc. - they won't make you blood boil. It's that his lowbrow antics are entertaining for the majority of football fans who could just as easily be distracted with shiny objects. So journalists want to keep him happy and he's not really called out on being a cunt. The average football fan is an idiot that gets spoonfed opinions from Talksport. Mourinhos would be heavily criticised in cricket and tennis. Average intelligence of viewership is on a different level.
If this were cricket or tennis, wouldn’t Wenger be vilified for refusing to shake hands as well? They’re even more strict about sports and ‘gentlemanly conduct’. I thought we were trying to get away from fake gestures?
This has nothing to do with levels of intelligence and we’re moving into that old argument relating to class/sport and generalising. In fact, if we’re going to talk about fans being led by the media, I find it odd how a lot of people seem to be kissing Fergie’s ass and the following the tabloid rhetoric when most Arsenal fans couldn’t stand his guts. I never liked the guy. Zero personality and little tyrant on a power trip. But each to their own.
I don’t have a major problem with Maureen. When he speaks his mind and comes back with a witty un PC response, it breaks the norm. It’s funny and it’s similar to why I enjoy Wenger’s witty remarks when he makes them. The press love Wenger when he makes witty jab and that’s how he should treat Jose. No false outrage just jab back and poke fun at him. Give as good as you get. It’s partly why I find that exaggerated Adebayor celebration in front our fans so funny. Or why that Ox response about bringing back Bendtner was so hilarious. It’s a break away from the usual generic responses we often see in football.
No, Wenger wouldn't be criticised. Because the prevailing opinion would be Mourinho's a cunt. Getting away from 'fake gestures' would mean not having to shake hands with a cunt.
Has no relevance to any point I'm making, but ok.Quote:

Mourinho on non-handshake with Wenger: "You're not obliged to shake hands with people when you walk down the street."
Mourinho: "But when you represent an institution, a club, a sport it's different. Wembley the last stadium you want to behave like that."
Like him running down the tunnel last season before full time to avoid Wenger
Or gouging Vilanova in the eye
Wenger just needs to troll him back. When asked about it, just smirk and say 'I didn't see him'.
