Everton 3-1 Boro, Lukaku?
I don't think Lukaku touches that.
Should be Bolasie's goal.
Barry gets his weekly yellow.
I didn't realise the Sky Sports app can now show the goals from every game without having to wait for MOTD to air first.
That's a game changer tbh.
Koeman is doing amazingly well at Everton albeit they've had an easy fixture run so far.
At this point I wouldn't mind seeing him take over next year if the old buzzard finally decides to call it quits though Tuchel is still my first choice (barring a miracle like Klopp or Pep becoming available).
MotD is on in a few minutes.
WBA - West Ham on first.
Rondon.
Where was West Ham's defence for the fourth? :haha:
Payet so unlucky with that freekick.
Losing 4-2 twice in a row is mightily impressive.
Foster with a good save from Collins, sadly it's still only us that have failed win in the Prem leading by four goals.
Idiotic from Nolito.
We're on.
Sterling is looking dangerous. De Bruyne too.
The analysis doesn't even mention Xhaka's goal. :haha:
De Bruyne is quality and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him as a contender for PoTY - definitely pushing Ozil at the moment as the best number 10 in the league. God knows how dumb Mourinho was to let him go just to keep his bunch of cloggers.
As for Sterling ....... I do rate him and Pep may be capable of extracting more from him than Pellegrini did but I do recall he started like a house on fire last season as well before fading away quite dramatically.
Sterling is a joke. He's another Theo that flatters to deceive far too often. At least Feo can point toward a scroll full of injuries. Look for Sterling in a big game and you won't find him. Last week at Utd he would regularly fail to do the basics like keep the ball under control or pick out the right pass. Hes an expert at confusing himself so he stumbles over his own feet. He's fast and lacks a brain, so on the odd occasion where defenders stand off him and he runs straight past a couple, he looks like a world beater. But he's mostly clueless. His goal today epitomised his game - open goal, easiest thing to do and he made it look like the hardest thing in the world.
It's looking like he could be on course for a great season. I rate him because he makes use of everything that he's got. He'll run with the ball, dribble, pass and go it alone if need be. No idea what Mourinho was thinking but he'll be a much better player under Pep. Same goes for Sterling. Has so much to his locker and he's on the right path if he keeps it going. 21 years old still, but will continue to get a rough ride from one or two idiots out there. Still plenty of room for growth but he's a lot to handle when on his game.
Not sure about Sterling, think he's a bit of a fairweather. Maybe Pep will toughen him up, we'll see.
De Bruyne though, he's class. Looks every bit a £50m player or whatever it was they paid. That level of impact and influence from midfield is rare these days. City seem to cope fine without Aguero, which is worrying for everyone else.
Watford: Gomes, Cathcart, Prodl, Britos, Janmaat, Pereyra, Behrami, Capoue, Holebas, Deeney, Ighalo.
Man Utd: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Shaw, Pogba, Fellaini, Martial, Rooney, Rashford, Ibrahimovic.
League decided after five games again.
In City's favour presumably?
Hadn't they won 5 out of 5 this time last season as well, without even conceding a goal?
What a miss for Deeney!
Ighalo you idiot.
Ighalo
What have you done?
Iwobi is 20 years old and Sterling is 21. At that age you're going to be hot and cold. I'd be happy if Iwobi followed a similar path to be honest. Heck, Ox is 23 and hasn't come close to looking anywhere near as good.
City are playing the sort of football that gets me jealous. I was hoping Pep would have at least taken a season to make his mark. Early days, but hopefully they stumble soon.
De Gea saves from Deeney.
Utd under the cosh.
De Gea saves from Deeney.
Zlatan.
Amazing. Pogba did something the world could notice.
Wazza's shot. :haha:
1-0!
:haha:
Capoue
1-0 CAPOUE!!!
:haha:
:haha: poor old united not getting all the decisions going their way
We need a dodgy pen or offside goal to really send Maureen off the edge. Just losng isn't enough.
Goal machine!
Was it a foul or not?
