Losing 4-2 twice in a row is mightily impressive.

Foster with a good save from Collins, sadly it's still only us that have failed win in the Prem leading by four goals.

Sterling is looking dangerous. De Bruyne too.

The analysis doesn't even mention Xhaka's goal.

De Bruyne is quality and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him as a contender for PoTY - definitely pushing Ozil at the moment as the best number 10 in the league. God knows how dumb Mourinho was to let him go just to keep his bunch of cloggers.

As for Sterling ....... I do rate him and Pep may be capable of extracting more from him than Pellegrini did but I do recall he started like a house on fire last season as well before fading away quite dramatically.

Sterling is a joke. He's another Theo that flatters to deceive far too often. At least Feo can point toward a scroll full of injuries. Look for Sterling in a big game and you won't find him. Last week at Utd he would regularly fail to do the basics like keep the ball under control or pick out the right pass. Hes an expert at confusing himself so he stumbles over his own feet. He's fast and lacks a brain, so on the odd occasion where defenders stand off him and he runs straight past a couple, he looks like a world beater. But he's mostly clueless. His goal today epitomised his game - open goal, easiest thing to do and he made it look like the hardest thing in the world.

It's looking like he could be on course for a great season. I rate him because he makes use of everything that he's got. He'll run with the ball, dribble, pass and go it alone if need be. No idea what Mourinho was thinking but he'll be a much better player under Pep. Same goes for Sterling. Has so much to his locker and he's on the right path if he keeps it going. 21 years old still, but will continue to get a rough ride from one or two idiots out there. Still plenty of room for growth but he's a lot to handle when on his game.
