both make general points, both use the mata transfer as examples of their points.

Mourinho really is an enemy of football.
Pellegrini doesn't think Wenger's point was a general one, hence the reason he comments that his view is a more general one.
Wenger's quotes didn't come across as general at all, they focussed on Chelsea and Mata, that's the problem. If you pick on a club don't expect them to take it lying down.
It's like you insulting people and expecting them to take it.
Zims anti-arsene mogishness shown up again.
Managers speak, agree, ignore moan and move on...
i have to say I've finally realised Zimm could be right, its much better to support a manager who pokes opponents in the eyes then one who is your own clubs manager.
I'm not supporting anyone, just playing devil's advocate.
Wenger comments on what another club does and the manager of that club responds in annoyance and you guys think he's a d*ck etc etc
It's what people do when they feel they've been criticised/attacked.
It's also what some people do when they think Maureen has been attacked. Apparently.Quote:

Mourinho manages Chelsea in case you forgot, it's his club, attacking the club and the sale of a player (which he has a direct say in), is attacking him.
I'm putting an alternative point of view across, it's a non story, but they way you guys go on it's as if a murder has been committed. Wenger decided to make comments about his club (questioning fairness etc), he replied and that's that.
I don't really have a problem with what Wenger says, nor do I have a problem with what Mourinho has said. If you don't want to rile up managers of other clubs, don't make perceived negative comments about them.
Still playing devil's advocate?

Fuuuuck, that's a horrendous thing to say about me! Reported!Quote:

I'll tell you why, if you make a general comment noone feels attacked or gets riled, if you pick out players/managers/clubs then you will.
If your intention is to p*ss off other clubs/managers fine, but if you're trying to make a point then the general comment is better.
