Schumacher never had a proper team mate. Johnny Herbert at Bennetton, Eddie Irvine and Rubens Barrichello at Ferrari. Ferrari never hired a driver to challenge him. They never really needed to.

It's really down to the other teams to pick up the slack. Mercedes built that car from scratch and it switching to the hybrid engines worked in their favour. They were prepared for what was ahead, hence why they were able to get Hamilton on board. I really don't know what the heck the other teams were doing. Mclaren are the worst culprits. Alonso and Button deserve a lot better from their team but it just boils down to poor preparation. I don't think the FIA rules have helped ease the matter either.
Let's hope we don't see team instructions from Mercedes. It’s nothing like the Ferrari days. Schumacher was the best driver but he also had a ridiculous advantage with team instructions. It made it really boring to watch. Even Red Bull their moment of dominance along with team instructions.
Agreed. Schumacher didn't need the help from Ferrari. It hurt F1.
Near the end of Q3 for British GP, Hamilton's first time was deleted.
Down comes the rain.
Starting behind the safety car. It's not even raining now!
What's the point in even having wet tyres now?
4 laps in.
This is shocking.
Hamilton is so bored he's trying to overtake the Safety Car.
Finally the fucker will be in - only took five laps.

Alonso goes out to the beach, manages to get it back on.
Kimi missing turns again.
I get the impression that trying to protect drivers from wet conditions doesn't prepare for them when the water is still there.
Sainz spinning.
Haryanto out!
Hamilton goes off on Turn 1 too.

Red flagged.
Third red flag of the session.
Ericcson crashed out. Massa the maverick crashes going out on Inters with everyone on Wets.
There's zero risk being allowed now. Safety car starts, red flags for every incident, what's the point of it? It all just plays into Mercedes' hands if the conditions all have to be perfect before they are allowed to race.
Fourth red flag. :haha:
Give it up. Pathetic. Send them around in Nissans, cover them in bubble wrap. Get a cop out there with a speed guns and start hitting them with fines.
Or give Charlie Whiting a pair of concrete boots and drop him deep.
