Mercedes is the problem. I mean good luck to them for being so far ahead. But their dominance is making it boring. We're back to the days of Ferrari rolling around the track accumulating titles by default. Even then, Schumacher was the best of the bunch so the dominance came from the best car/ best driver combination. But now I think it's more the car than the drivers. Hamilton and Rosberg are fast, and if you had to put your money down you'd put it on Hamilton. But I wonder what we'd be seeing if Vettel or Ricciardo was in a Mercedes? What really needs to happen is for Ferrari and Red Bull to sort their acts out. They have both been shite over the last few seasons. Especially Ferrari. What sort of muppets do they have running that team?

Schumacher never had a proper team mate. Johnny Herbert at Bennetton, Eddie Irvine and Rubens Barrichello at Ferrari. Ferrari never hired a driver to challenge him. They never really needed to.

It's really down to the other teams to pick up the slack. Mercedes built that car from scratch and it switching to the hybrid engines worked in their favour. They were prepared for what was ahead, hence why they were able to get Hamilton on board. I really don't know what the heck the other teams were doing. Mclaren are the worst culprits. Alonso and Button deserve a lot better from their team but it just boils down to poor preparation. I don't think the FIA rules have helped ease the matter either.

Let's hope we don't see team instructions from Mercedes. It’s nothing like the Ferrari days. Schumacher was the best driver but he also had a ridiculous advantage with team instructions. It made it really boring to watch. Even Red Bull their moment of dominance along with team instructions.

Yeah he was. The most frustrating thing is Michael was so dominant they could have let Rubens have those win and it would have made no difference.

Agreed. Schumacher didn't need the help from Ferrari. It hurt F1.
